Communications equipment requires high functionality
and high reliability under harsh conditions. A combination
of different technologies go into making our products
including not only analog RF (Radio Frequency) technology
but voice recognition technology, software programming,
digital signal processing technology including DSP, high
frequency digital technology and high speed visual resolution
technology. To keep up with these various technologies,
we invest 9% of revenues into R&D. To improve flexibility
and add perspectives in the development process, we have
employed a project team approach, including assigning
a project leader, for each new product.
Collaborating over a range of technologies on these projects
has had a positive impact on product development. To develop
even better products, we have installed CAD (computer
aided design) and CAM (computer assisted manufacturing)
systems, a large environmental testing machine, a Fully
Anechoic Chamber among others. From these efforts, we
have been able to successfully develop the 2.4GHz spread
spectrum technology and are poised to adapt to changes
in the new era of digital communications with added speed
and flexibility. In the ever-changing landscape of technology,
we, as communications equipment specialists, will endeavor
to sustain our output of dynamic technological developments. |
